When Marcus was a puppy, he began training with Guide Dogs NSW. But after 12 weeks of training, it quickly became apparent that the four-year-old, 32-kilo labrador was not really suited for a guide dog role because he was 'a little bit of a sloth', according to Samantha O'Keeffe, the alternate pathways manager at Guide Dogs NSW.
