India's first biofuel plane could fly on Monday from Dehradun to Delhi

The flight is slated to take off from Dehradun, fly over the city for 10 minutes and then take off for Delhi if the test goes well. This January, Australian carrier Qantas flew a Dreamliner between Los Angeles and Melbourne. India is also trying to promote biofuels to reduce dependence on fossil fuel.
