Why India's factory jobs are safe from robots

More than 5 lakh robots will be sold around the world in 2020 if sales continue to grow at 15% every year, as projected. However, only 6,000 of those are likely to be sold in India, as against 2.1 lakh in China. Clearly, most of India’s factory jobs are under no immediate threat from robots.
