India at CWG, day 5: Medal tally increases with shooting, weightlifting

Day five of the 2018 Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast, Australia has begun on a brilliant note for India. In shooting, Jitu Rai won gold in the men’s 10m air pistol followed by bronze for Om Mitharval, while in weightlifting Pardeep Singh claimed silver in the 105kg final to take the country’s overall medal tally to 15.
