Markets edge up further as Sensex closes just under 33,700- mark

30-share BSE Sensex gained 112.34 points to close on 33,685.56 while the broader 50-share NSE Nifty finished on 10,452.50, up by 28.70 points. In intra-day trade, Sensex went past 33,700-mark for the first hitting a fresh all-time high of 33,733.71. Nifty too, hit the fresh peak of 10,461.70
