Women's Ashes: England beat Australia in third ODI in first win of series
• England beat Southern Stars by 20 runs in final ODI of the series

It looked to be drifting away. The match, and England’s tour, more by the over. Racking up 284-8 with the bat, their top order had finally done the job. But, when going to defend it, the tale was familiar with routine catches shelled as the Australians took full advantage.
Then, at the moment the hosts looked ready to walk in a clean sweep of the Women’s Ashes ODIs, they imploded. Needing just over a run a ball from 1 for 159 in pursuit of a rain-adjusted 278 in the 30th over, they lost 6 for 57 over the course of 12 calamitous overs, 10 an over the equation by the time that was done.
