Son of Ibne Insha passes away, reason of death revealed

Director Roomi Insha, son of popular columnist and writer Ibne Insha, passed away on October 16 in Karachi, due to a heart attack.
His sister Mrs Saima Siddiqui confirmed the news to The Express Tribune.

“He had been unwell recently and today at around 12 or 1 in the afternoon, he suffered a major stroke,” she said. “He was taken to the Southcity hospital but couldn’t be revived.”
She said that their mother Shakila Insha passed away last month on September 14 and that had affected Roomi a lot.
Roomi was a freelance film-maker, who started his career as a graphic designer. He was known for television serials such as Najiah, Mannchalay, Tair-e-Lahooti, Mohabbat Ruth Jaye Tou, Mastana Mahi, Mausam, Judai and recently Rasm-e-Duniya.

Many from the entertainment fraternity took to social media to commemorate him.
