First Indian Olympic swimmer Shamsher Khan dies of cardiac arrest

The first-ever Olympian swimmer from India, Mehboob Shamsher Khan died of cardiac stroke at Kaithepalle village near Repalle town in the district on Sunday. Khan is 87. He is survived by two sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
